Wormy Chestnut
Pacific Marri is a hardwood grown in Eastern Australia near Victoria. It is called Pacific marri because of its similar colour and grain to WA Marri but grown nearer to Pacific Ocean.
The timber is called Wormy Chestnut because of its distinctive appearance, featuring natural black insect marks scattered throughout the wood. The colour is a combination of mellow straw brown to light chocolates, which adds to the timber's rustic and natural appearance.
